Hotel Operations Training Manager Jobs

Knowledgeable in Medallia or other guest service/on line management tool (reporting and analytics)

Knowledge of GAAP accounting and experience with compliance required.

Three (3) years related experience using/administering an accounting software in hospitality or service industry. Must have hospitality experience.

Ideal candidate held/holds a managerial/supervisory position at a hotel's front desk

Hands-on knowledge with OPERA PMS (Cloud or V5 versions)

Knowledgeable in guest touch point systems via SMS or WHATS APP (i.e. Medallia Concierge/Zingle, Kipsu)

Design, develop and lead the overall new hire experience strategy for hourly production team members

7+ years of progressive work experience in adult learning, training, and educating an hourly production workforce

3+ years of experience leading a training team

Ensure consistency in the quality of programs across the organization

Lead a strong training team

Own the overall process and strategy for the Certified Training Program

Bachelor degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent education and experience.

At least 2 years of direct management experience, recruiting, developing and retaining talent.

Previous experience working with property management systems such as Opera, Infor, and/or LMS.

Inform senior hotel management of situations which require attention.

At least 5 years of experience within upscale, lifestyle, or luxury property.

Excellent customer service, strategic, analytical skills with strong quantitative and qualitative skills.

Conduct plant-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed, including training records needs assessment.

Advise management on training opportunities as observed and develop action plans as appropriate.

Comfortable giving feedback and presenting to management staff.

Manage work of training coordinators and will manage level two training coordinators.

Designs, prepares and order educational aids and materials.

Assess trainee/trainer effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills.

Manage human resource related issues including performance management, salary administration and training and development.

Ensures that billing is reviewed and approved by clients, and advises the Director and/or Sales Manager of any potential challenges.

Manages inventory control procedures to maintain proper inventory levels while also maintaining safety, security, and quality assurance of equipment.

Promote and drive professional development and training efforts to improve overall business acumen, technical knowledge and service to the field.

Experience leading workflow and team members.

Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in a live show environment

Minimum of 4 years in a leadership role with people management responsibilities

Excellent communication (verbal and written), analytical, leadership, interpersonal and presentation organizational, time management, problem solving, strategic, team building, and execution skills

Minimum 6 years experience within a training and quality role preferably within the healthcare industry

Knowledge and understanding of key training principles including conducting needs analysis, scoping, designing, developing and evaluating training modules

Ability to prioritize and manage time

Ability to manage a virtual team

Responsible for employee engagement of the front desk operations team, utilizing the tools provided and through coaching, training, rewards and development.

2 years of experience in a management or leadership role

4-year degree in the field of Management, Business Administration is desired

Attend meetings with fellow Training and Operations Managers regarding sales targets, team performance, and expansion opportunities

Maintain individual sales and communication responsibilities, including weekly performance metrics with individual and the larger team’s weekly sales

A strong growth mindset to enhance current skills and execute constructive criticism

Exceptional Interpersonal skills in interacting with consumers

Assists in the hand-over of the operations between the Hotel Directors and island General Managers if necessary

Manages specific projects as delegated and required by the VP Operations and Product Department in Geneva.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good business acumen.

Delivers training sessions to the onboard teams when required.

Fluent in English Language (minimum A2). Italian and any additional language is a plus.
