Assists the Golf Maintenance Manager as needed.

First Aid/CPR Certification or obtain within ninety (90) calendar days or as scheduled.

Knowledge of maintenance of golf courses, trails, trees, landscape beds, or facilities.

Knowledge of proper pruning, planting, fertilizing, grinding of stumps and other related cultural practices.

Knowledge of ornamental plant material including trees, shrubs and groundcover, wood stock and their use and care in the landscape.

Knowledge of the use of parks maintenance and/or golf course equipment.

2-4-year degree or certificate in turf management or related field.

Manages the maintenance facility and runs operations in the absence of Superintendent or lead assistant.

Knowledge of safe use, mixing and application of chemicals and commercial products

Will require current state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator.

Skills in recruiting, supervising, training, monitoring, evaluating and motivating personnel.

Computer skills in word/excel/power point.

Must have 2 yrs supervisory experience within an operating Nuclear Power Plant.

Strong background and knowledge in one or more Maintenance disciplines, Mechanical, Electrical or I&C

Must meet and maintain Nuclear's Requirements for Unescorted Plant Access.

Previous or Current SRO License/Certification.

Provide plant support of station operations

Assure timely and effective performance of assigned maintenance using approved procedures and work practices.

Experience or knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC), and Networking devices a plus. Allen Bradley experiences a plus.

Assists the Maintenance Manager in the performance of his/her duties.

Performs the duties of Maintenance Manager in his/her absence.

Manage Preventative Maintenance Program, Follows up with root cause analysis on all failures

Experience in the installation, diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment through troubleshooting required. Electrical troubleshooting is desired.

SAP experience is a plus

Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills.

Manage outage, capital and expense budgets according to area maintenance objectives.

Manage and prioritize performance gap reporting (PGR). Ensure timely completion of PGR driven tasks.

At least 5+ years related work experience with leadership responsibility.

Has the ability to understand the manufacturing process and technical knowledge to ensure product quality and flow.

Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Must have 2 years supervisory experience within an operating Nuclear Power Plant.

Working knowledge of mathematical skills in order to calibrate fertilizer and chemical applications (spray equipment and spreaders).

Assist is participating in Hyatt subcommittees (Safety, Etc.) and manager meetings.

Extensive knowledge of soils and turf

Extensive knowledge of fertilizers and chemicals used in golf course maintenance

Working knowledge of personal computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) and Hyatt software systems such as Kronos (Payroll System), Birchstreet (Purchase Orders)

Operates light tractors, specialized mowing equipment and string trimmers; mows tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens.

Assists in setting up course by changing pin and tee placements; replaces tee towels; maintains golf ball washers.

Polices golf course and grounds around clubhouse and pro shop, picking up papers, cans, bottles and other debris, as necessary.

Performs other related work as required.

Part time position, starting at $18.00/hour.

Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management, required.

Thorough knowledge of world-class maintenance management systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, etc.

Report resource levels/schedules to Scheduler, Maintenance Manager, and others, as needed, via Maintenance Craft Calendar

Manage work package flow to ensure documents move hands effectively and don't get misplaced.

Assess training needs and development plans to enhance competency and skills within his team.

Demonstrated experience and capability in the areas of budget development, fiscal management, strategic planning, staff management.

Mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs to maintain appropriate turf height and density

Operate mowers, tractors, and other turf equipment to maintain the golf course

Perform daily golf course set-up tasks, including hole changing and tee marker placement

Additional years of college education may be substituted for the experience on a year-for-year basis.

A General Education Degree (GED) or California Proficiency Certificate may be substituted for the successful completion of high school.
