Job Summary

Provide effective supervision, direction and control of station maintenance activities by directing and coordinating the work of maintenance supervisors and bargaining unit personnel.

Job Responsibilities

  • Direct and control work of station technicians and the planning and scheduling of such activities in support of station operations.
  • Assure station maintenance and repair activities are conducted in accordance with the Company's personnel and safety policies.
  • Assure timely and effective performance of assigned maintenance using approved procedures and work practices.
  • Provide plant support of station operations
  • Perform supervisory duties, including conducting personnel evaluations, hiring and disciplinary recommendations.
  • Support the goal to maximize unit ability and reliability by assuring timely and effective planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.


Job Specific Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Ability to work various shifts when needed
  • Minimum 7 years of extensive experience at a Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Pressure Water Reactor (PWR) within an operating Nuclear Power Plant or a Commercial Industry.
  • Must have 2 yrs supervisory experience within an operating Nuclear Power Plant.
  • Must meet and maintain Nuclear's Requirements for Unescorted Plant Access.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong background and knowledge in one or more Maintenance disciplines, Mechanical, Electrical or I&C

DESIRED:

  • Previous or Current SRO License/Certification.
  • BS degree in Engineering/Related Science.
  • Knowledge of System Engineering.
