Continuous Improvement training and Black Belt Certification (highly preferred)

5+ years of experience in a Continuous Improvement leadership role.

Demonstrated experience deploying CI (kaizen, 5S, waste, line balancing and more) processes with ownership of complex cross-functional projects.

Proven leadership skills in complex and high-pressure environments.

Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities for problem resolution.

Minimum of 4-5 years work experience in transportation, supply chain and project management

BS/BA required, preferably in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Engineering or related field

Experience in global business settings with proven ability to manage large cross-functional projects

Manager and leadership training, weekly L&OD webinars, and eLearning offerings

Establish and manage continuous improvement strategies and cost saving programs and execute programs to drive advanced automation and cost reduction

Manage outbound transportation projects to improve service, OTIF and to reduce cost

Preferred experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment with labor management systems

Utilize CI mindset to create mousetraps for productivity initiatives including but not limited to Daily Management Boards, 5S, Routines,PDCA, etc.

Manage development and maintenance of best practices for all job functions

Drive SOP compliance by partnering up with front-line DC managers and supervisors

Use data analysis capabilities to validate hypotheses or monitor improvements

Bachelors of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred

Advise Management of strategy deployment targets to improve.

Create and promote a lean culture leading the cultural shift to manage through process improvement.

3+ yrs Continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment - TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and related process improvement systems.

2+ yrs experience leading, guiding, and mentoring teams and individuals.

Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify areas for improvement.

Excellent project management abilities, including planning, execution and monitoring of improvement initiatives within established timelines and budgets

Monitoring progress, tracking key performance indicators and providing regular updates to senior management

Familiarity with relevant software and tools for process mapping, data analysis and project management
