Education: Bachelor’s degree in GIS Analysis, Environmental Science, Geography, Surveying, Engineering or related field

Years of Related Experience: 3 years' experience in GIS career field

Experience with ESRI mapping tools

Experience with ArcGIS editing tools, shapefiles, personal/file geodatabases, geodatabase topology and editing in a SDE multi-user database

Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills

Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL, R or Python

Experience with local and wide area network infrastructure capabilities, cloud-based solutions, disaster recovery, relational database management systems, software installation, upgrades, troubleshooting

Experience in remote sensing, digital image processing, land-use/land-cover classification, LIDAR data processing, and DEM applications

Experience in script writing using Python

Experience with ESRI desktop software, ESRI administration, ESRI ArcGIS Online, Python script writing, and SQL query writing

Knowledge of a wide array of software such as SQL Server Programming/Queries, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Office applications, and Visio.

Ability to manage multiple issues/tasks concurrently and incorporate shifting priorities

We are seeking a candidate with Five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in GIS technology.

Developing and providing monthly operational metrics on workflow and customer satisfaction.

Experience and knowledge of operating systems, desktop management, cyber security requirements related unclassified and classified environments

Experience balancing risk management and mitigation with end user experience and productivity

Configuration management and security for macOS and iOS

Classified Computing Continual Service Improvement (3CSI) program management

Apply organization knowledge and experience to independently judge work quality, performance, and alignment of results with customer expectations

Experience leading and executing enterprise IT projects, including classified capabilities

Provides timely and accurate reports in support of management;

Masters degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geosciences, Geography or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

The Senior GIS Analyst acts as a mentor and helps develop the skillsets of other GIS analysts on the team.

Experience with a project management software and a ticketing system.

Excellent project management skills and follow-through.

Assist in the planning, project management, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications and operations.

Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Working technical knowledge of Microsoft Visio.

Train and manage Coordinator on paid media execution, overseeing all campaign deliverables, QC process and deadlines

Experience with paid media planning across traditional media (TV, radio, print, OOH) and digital (digital video/audio, display and social) required

4+ years’ experience within media/marketing organizations preferred (agency or client side)

Agency Or In-house Media Experience Required

Develop media agency relationship to maximize efficacy of media plans by inspiring creativity, scrutinizing recommendations and sharing insightful feedback

Work with agency of record to launch media campaigns, from initial ideation to execution of tactics and post-campaign analysis (PCA)

Minimum 5 years GIS experience

Ideal background: Utility GIS experience, GIS Tech, Engineering Technologist

4 year degree in geography or related technical field accepted

Python would be a major plus
