Game Night Stat Crew Statistician Jobs

AP style knowledge and experience;

Working toward bachelor’s degree from an accredited college majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Sports Management, or other relevant degree program.

Minimum of one-year relevant college experience in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or other relevant major

Strong work ethic and organizational skills

Knowledge of the Memphis Grizzlies, Memphis Hustle and the NBA;

The Experience You Will Bring

Connect with event attendees and sell ticket pricing, packages, and fan experiences.

Plan and research organizations in the Inland Empire to attend

Attend community events and run Ontario Clippers activations

Connect with event attendees and educate them about the Ontario Clippers.

Assist with set up and take down of activation equipment.

Select contestants for on-court/in-stand contests and promotions

Assist during time-outs as needed, both stage management and fan engagement including hype signs and crowd interaction.

Fundamental knowledge or experience in live presentation, sports, and entertainment

At least 2 years of experience as a stage manager for a live sporting event preferred

Desire to gain experience in live entertainment, both behind and in front of the camera.

High School Diploma or equivalent experience required

Assist with game set up including props, t-shirts, signs, flags, prizing, etc.

Experience and education may be substituted for one another.

Understanding of how to connect data and analysis to management and operational decisions.

Experience working in government is preferred.

Skill in the use of a computer, applicable software, and statistical tools and databases.

Knowledge of statistics and analyzing data sets; of running queries, report writing, and presenting findings.

Compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting statistical data through data visualizations, reports, and meeting memos.

Support and manage any applicable Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable responsibilities in conjunction with the Ignite Sports & Entertainment Finance Team

Superior communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and time-management skills are mandatory

BS degree in Management, Marketing, or relevant field

Participate in all weekly team meetings and supply input, ideas and experience where needed

Sales goals and expectations will be set at a later date, based on capabilities and ability to balance workload

Proven work experience and established successful track record in sales and operations, or similar role

Required previous experience working on a stat crew for basketball or another fast-paced sport on the professional or collegiate level

Work with crew for pre-game input of appropriate game info

Communicate with the NBA and NGSS Help Desk

Input all stats and info throughout the game

Validate stats with NGSS program and official scorer throughout game to ensure accuracy

Maintain regular and reliable attendance
