Job Summary
Suns Legacy Partners includes several companies and many different departments that support the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury and Footprint Center.
Would you like to win championships and create sustained success? Suns Legacy Partners is looking for individuals that are committed to pursuing excellence and be part of creating memorable experiences.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Game Crew with the Live Presentation Department. Game Crew member must have a creative vision to make Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury home games the most exciting and engaging entertainment experience. The Game Crew will engage fans with charisma and energy while supporting live presentation pre-game, in-game, and post-game elements that will improve fan experiences, retain ticket holders, and fulfill partner objectives. Position begins October 2023 and ends September 2024.
What Will You Do
  • Set up and organize guest performer green rooms including food and beverage, and other hospitality items.
  • Assist with set up of entertainer green rooms including props, catering, costumes, etc.
  • Assist with additional stage-managing tasks as needed.
  • Assist with game set up including props, t-shirts, signs, flags, prizing, etc.
  • Pre-game
  • Assist with Pavilion and Plaza activations as needed.
  • Select contestants for in-game promotions/events as needed.
  • Greet, escort, and support any outside performers including halftime, National Anthem, DJ’s, primetime performances, and other special guests.
In-game
  • Assist during time-outs as needed, both stage management and fan engagement including hype signs and crowd interaction.
  • Execute select in-game promotions including t-shirt tosses, upper-level activation, fan giveaways, on-court presentations, and halftime entertainment.
Post-game.
  • Participate in post-game debrief.
  • Assist with all team clean-up.
  • Ensure props and supplies are put away and organized.
  • Available for select post-game events.

What We Need From Our Game Crew
  • Expected to attend all home games, select Footprint Center events and appearances.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the company, comfortable with one-on-one fan interaction and engagement.
  • Desire to learn about the business operations of a professional team, with the opportunity to gain exposure to other departments within the company.
  • Flexibility with an often-evolving schedule of events, appearances, and games including weekends, evenings, some holidays, and some overtime to meet business needs.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and work under extremely tight deadlines and high-stress situations.
  • Available to work a minimum of 8 hours per home game, arriving four hours before tip-off and departing approximately an hour after each game.
  • Outgoing personality with ability to direct and command attention from large groups of people.
  • Must be a minimum age of 18.
  • Desire to gain experience in live entertainment, both behind and in front of the camera.
  • Professionalism and maturity in handling confidential matters and high-profile guests.
Experience/ Education Requirements
  • Fundamental knowledge or experience in live presentation, sports, and entertainment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
  • At least 2 years of experience as a stage manager for a live sporting event preferred
