2023-24 Game Night Staff

The LA Clippers are now accepting applications for our 2023-24 Game Night Staff. Game Night Staff play an instrumental role in creating a best-in-class experience for our fans before, during, and after each Clippers home game at Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles. See below for descriptions of which departments are hiring and what their key responsibilities are.

Tentatively on August 22nd and August 23rd, we will be hosting in-person Hiring Events to find our Game Night Staff for the 2023-24 season.

During the event, you will:

• Event is by invitation only. Please apply to be considered.
• Participate in group interviews
• Hear directly from our hiring managers about their departments and game-day duties

DEPARTMENTS

COMMUNICATIONS

The Communications department is responsible for crafting communication strategies to share the LA Clippers story with local and national media, for both Business Operations and Basketball Operations. Game Night Staff will assist the Communications department with setting up media seating areas, facilitating and transcribing player interviews and distributing statistics to the coaching staff during all home games. Game Night Staff may also be asked to assist the Communications department in media archiving and other various tasks during non-gamedays.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS

The Community Relations team impacts hundreds of thousands of youth in the greater LA area each year. Game Night Staff serve an important role in the implementation of community programs and initiatives both during games and at community events throughout the season.

CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS

The Corporate Partnerships team helps brands bring their objectives to life through Clippers partnerships. Professional, amiable Game Night Staff will support our partner's premium hospitality and sponsored promotions at games as well as assist with off-site events and activations.

IT

IT Game Night Staff help with the setup and breakdown of IT equipment in Crypto.com Arena, while also assisting other departments with their game day technology needs. In addition, the IT team is responsible for troubleshooting technology issues during game day.

GAME PRESENTATION

The Game Presentation Game Night Staff help bring one of the most exciting game presentations in the NBA to life, on the court and in the stands! From supporting the implementation of promotions, selecting contestants, escorting celebrity performers, and the executing all game-related elements, this position is made for the individual looking to propel their career in sports. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, proactive, and friendly team players to help maintain the best sports show in Los Angeles.

GROUP EVENTS

Group Events manages exclusive experiences and special events for large groups during the season. Game Night Staff will be responsible for managing fan tunnels, court times, promotion table, lining up kids during the National Anthem, halftime performances, and more.

MARKETING

The LA Clippers Marketing department builds our brand and grows our fandom both locally and globally. We strive for excellence in everything we do and aim to provide the best experience for all Clippers fans. Marketing Game Night Staff will assist with fan activations, support theme nights and giveaway items in-arena. You will also help bring new people into the Clippers Basketball Academy and Clipper Nation Kids Club by engaging with the next generation of fans and their families. We are seeking passionate team players who enjoy creating unforgettable experiences for all guests.

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES

Membership Services creates memorable experiences and provides personalized attention to all Members. Game Night Staff will represent the Clippers brand with enthusiasm, professionalism, and passion. Game Night Staff will gain valuable experience in sales, service, retention, and event planning in the Clippers front office.

PREMIUM SERVICES

Premium Services Game Night Staff will play an important role in delivering exceptional customer service and providing a premium experience in our club areas before, during, and after each Clippers home game at Crypto.com Arena. Premium Game Night Staff will always represent the Clippers brand with enthusiasm, professionalism, and friendliness. They will gain valuable experience in sales, service, retention, and event planning in the Clippers front office.

TICKET OPERATIONS

If you're obsessed with game tickets and ticketing technology, come and join our team! The Ticket Operations Department is responsible for the management of the Clippers ticket inventory across all departments, ensuring a consistent and accurate financial ticketing flow. On game nights, you can find us in the Crypto.com Arena Box Office interacting with fans and providing great customer service.

Compensation

• $16.78 per hour. Expected hours of work per week vary by department.
• This role is classified as non-exempt.
• We provide staff parking for each game in a lot adjacent to Crypto.com Arena.
