5+ years of experience in post-production environment using non-linear editing applications

Experience editing long-form features and docu-series with applications such as Adobe Premiere or AVID

Experience working with Adobe’s creative software including After Effects, Photoshop and Media Encoder

Working knowledge of Google and Airtable products.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:

Read and provide written coverage on four assigned screenplay submissions per week.

Research new and associated filmmakers and engage in team conversations about their work.

Provide administrative assistance for the year-round tracking and support of prospective and alumni Feature Film Program artists.

Manage key (KDM) bookings from both studio contacts and internal IMAX distribution and ensuring keys are requested through the correct channels

2+ years’ experience in theatrical distribution, logistics or a related field required.

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Entertainment Industry Distribution and/or Post Production experience strongly preferred

Coordinate with the daytime Operations staff to understand what issues are being handed off for the evening shift

Assist with collecting data and contact information on new theatre installs and alerting necessary parties

Work with management to enterprise and develop stories daily on the entertainment / social media beats

Bachelor's degree in Communication/Journalism or related degree required (equivalent years of experience may substitute for education)

3 years television reporting experience required

Produce content for multiple platforms, including TV, web, mobile, social media, and YouTube.

Demonstrate compelling storytelling and ability to be part of an on-air team reacting to the big stories of the day

Build network of sources who supply information that allows the Company to stay ahead of its competitors

Facilitate meetings with artists to keep the crew informed on show changes and requirements.

Must have intimate knowledge of AVID Media Composer

Must be a member of Local 700 with IER experience

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

2 years’ experience, preferably in a creative environment and degree in Film or TV

Prepare necessary documents for the Producer/Director (i.e. materials for meetings).

Answer, screen and roll phone calls. Create and update a daily phone list.

Attend and take notes at meetings as requested by the Producer/Director.

Prepare expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.

5+ years experience in Animation Editing

Must have intimate knowledge of AVID Media Composer

Maintain creative integrity of film throughout the production and post production processes.

Supervise and participate in scratch, production and ADR dialogue recording sessions.

Cut and/or supervise the cutting of temp SFX and Music for the story reel.

Primary point of contact with Technical Directors in production.

Strategic partner with Producer and Production Managers in meeting overall production scheduling and budget requirements

Strong working knowledge of Editorial needs on animated production, including previous experience Supervising on a CG feature

Oversee timely availability of resources and team; proactively predict inventory issues and communicate status of work and assignments to Production Managers

Create and update department reports to document workflows, project scenarios, and communicate progress upward to Production Managers and Producer

Manage logistical activities for department; establish agendas and help drive reviews and presentations

Strong managerial expertise, leading a team within a professional, fast-paced environment

Working knowledge of requirements management tools (Polarion, JIRA)

BS or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering or Associate Degree/Skilled Trade with experience

Experience writing test cases and test reports for feature or vehicle requirements

Experience testing vehicle systems (electrical, mechanical, HMI, dynamic, quasi-static, inspection)

Knowledge of vehicle engineering or software validation process
