7+ years of Freight Forwarding experience

Experience managing a team on a similar position

Salary $70,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience

Experience: Minimum 5 years Import & Export operations, Rail & Specialized transportation operations, Global Supply Chain/Transportation operations, P&L management.

Education: BS degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or Business or 8 plus years’ experience in Logistics, Supply Chain and Transportation.

Preferred skills; Experience managing Global transportation providers and international markets.

Computer skills: Versed in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and various supply chain operating systems.

Communication skills: Executive level written, presentation and verbal skills.

Working collaboratively with global strategy & procurement, transportation operations and BU sales to support total transportation activities.

Continuously review distributor's performance and monitor their work, so that relevant information can be provided to management.

Participate in company run training sessions to improve knowledge and skills.

Develop and manage Revenue and volume goals by Brand, by Country

Collaborate with Brand Managers (internal) and International Agents (external) to ensure brand identities are maintained consistently

Act as liaison between international agents and Operations team to ensure compliance and customs requirements are met.

Provide market feedback on products to brand managers and business.

Prepare regular reports and presentations on export sales results, market trends, and opportunities for management review.

Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis to drive continuous improvement.

Provide management with reports and recommendations based on sales analytics.

7+ years of sales experience, preferably in an export sales-type role with industry knowledge.

Your education & experience should be similar to:

Ensure compliance with export regulations, trade laws, and export control requirements.

- Proven experience in export logistics management, preferably within a global trading or manufacturing company.

- Strong knowledge of export processes, international trade regulations, customs procedures, and INCO terms.

- Experience in negotiating freight rates, managing contracts, and working with carriers and service providers.

- Proficiency in export documentation requirements, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
