Report all unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and/or defective equipment to manager

6 months of previous experience cleaning homes or other large facilities is preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work

Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals

Clean, sanitize, and stock areas with products as needed

Ensure all tables and chairs are clean and functioning properly

Work Experience & Education Requirements

Work with managers to ensure proper par levels of all bar items are maintained

Minimum of one year of restaurant experience

Knowledge of Mexican cuisine and beverages a plus

Must be well versed in food safety - including proper techniques for handling food and personal hygiene requirements

Manage housekeeping operations in accordance with established guest service, quality and sustainability standards.

Area Executive Housekeeper – Assistant General Manager – General Manager

Inspect guest rooms, public areas and grounds for cleanliness, appearance and safety.

Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services and resolve guests’ complaints and concerns.

3 years of housekeeping or hospitality management experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other operational systems

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Demonstrate a high level of skills in the areas of diplomacy, problem solving, and relationship building.

Annual Salary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 based on experience.

Up to 12 FREE room nights per year at Hyatt properties around the world (The best in the Industry)

4 years or more of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience (typically with Hyatt).

Responsible for short and long term planning and the management of the hotel’s Housekeeping operations

Develop and recommend the budget, labor cost plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans

Experience purchasing linens and housekeeping supplies

Experience teaching, supervising, and mentoring multilingual and multicultural staff

Experience with turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc. helpful

Perform other duties as requested by management.

Primary duties include; directing, interviewing, hiring, counseling, plan work schedules, assign work duties of Housekeeping associates.

Lead pre-shift meetings communicates arrivals, departures, identifies VIP’s, delegates room assignments and duties.

Monitor the housekeeping staff and their productivity and efficiency for the purpose of recommending promotions or other changes in their status

Determine the type of materials, supplies, and tools to be used or merchandise to be bought, stocked and sold.

Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation.

Anticipate guests? needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.

Schedule and direct employee locker audits with the General Manager.

Participate in hotel?s Manager on Duty Program.

Follow up on assignments and special projects given by General Manager.

Daily house count and expected arrivals/departures

Interviews and hires management and hourly employees with the appropriate skills to meet the business needs of the operation.

Proven track record of managing and developing teams, both hourly and management

Manages areas of operation to budget by reviewing P&L, budget worksheets and payroll.

Manages department controllable expenses and cost per occupied room to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.

Develops goals and expectations for direct report managers.

Manages employee progressive discipline procedures for areas of responsibility.
