Event Planning Analyst Jobs

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Merchandising or Operations

Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Visio

Manage raw material master data in variety of systems to ensure accuracy and data quality

Monitor data input to any Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system or IT system for accuracy and resolve any issues as required

Minimum 4 years of related events, conference, and/or facility management experience required.

Works with event software and Salesforce to help manage and promote the event.

Other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the Operations Department and HGSE Community.

About the Harvard Graduate School of Education

Communicates changes/updates to the broader Events Team and event stakeholders as needed.

Involved in supporting and executing large school-wide events run by the Dean’s Office as well as Commencement and Orientation.

Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking, time management, and attention to detail

Proven success in event planning or coordination; Bachelor’s degree preferred in event management or related discipline

Proficient with event management software

Establish annual budget and manage all events to agreed cost parameters

College degree or equivalent experience preferred

Contribute to the pre-construction planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects ranging in size and scope.

Evaluate development proposals to identify compliance with zoning regulations.

Prepare planning and land use studies.

Prefer two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program

Collaborates on receipts and sales forecast with vendors, product managers and inventory management team.
