Environmental Regulatory Specialist Jobs in Iowa

Project management experience implementing renewable technologies (wind, solar, etc.)

Supporting project management work to evaluate potential opportunities for REG

1 – 4 years of related experience

Strong math and accounting skills

Cross-functional approach and collaboration with strong verbal and written communication skills

Tech savvy, with strong analytical and statistical skills

Manage all of the site's environmental permits (eg. air, wastewater, etc.)

Perform internal and external audits to assess compliance with legal and company requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.

2+ years of experience in working the environmental field including managing environmental permits and preparing required environmental regulatory reports.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Prepare and submit required regulatory reports (Air Permit, Sara TIER II, RCRA Hazardous Waste, TRI, Wastewater, etc.)

Lead investigations into serious adverse events.

0-2 years relevant professional experience

Actively participate in technical progress meetings for research projects.

Contribute to and assist in development of research and demonstration solicitation topics.

Facilitate the proposal review process, including coordination of proposal review meetings.

Monitor financial and technical progress of research and demonstration projects.

Develop outreach such as writing blogs and developing social media content and presentations.

Experience in calculating waste load allocations or water quality based permit limits for point sources discharges

Issuing or preparing wastewater discharge operation permits for point source discharges of domestic wastewater or industrial discharges or,

Water resources coursework such as hydrology

Applies regulatory and technical knowledge to a wide variety of complex work assignments.

Ensures compliance to and is able to demonstrate knowledge of site and division level policies and procedures.

Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and/or biologics

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.

Supports manufacturing/operations day to day activities for change control.

Provides consultation/advice to regulatory specialist for change control and product development.
