As an Energy Engineer Intern, you may experience and assist in:

Providing technical analysis/review for energy projects; providing project risk assessment.

Performing building “walk-throughs” and identifying energy conservation measures (architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.

Prescribing best methods for measurement and verification of system performance during the acquisition phase.

3+ years’ experience in a project management role, PMP Certification preferred

Collaborate with the team to establish and scale project management practices across Energy Training, utilized across multiple geographies (NAM, EMEA, APAC)

Support workflow management, role governance, issue structure/metadata, and other functions within the project management tool

Manage incoming training requests, prioritize them, and handle project management for a business division within Tesla Energy

Build and maintain project management dashboards and roadmaps relevant to various levels of leadership and key stakeholders

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, training, or a related field required

Performs other duties and special projects, as assigned.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and to foster communication with business professionals and EDA staff

Ability to synthesize findings and propose actionable solutions

Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal effectively and diplomatically with business professionals and EDA staff

Strong demonstrable hands-on experience with electrical test equipment: Power Supplies, Multimeter, Oscilloscopes, and other common equipment.

Experience with soldering, and instrumentation is desirable.

Drive issue resolution from root cause analysis to countermeasure implementation on electromechanical components from Tesla’s Energy Products.

Design and conduct fault replication tests experiments on power converters and low voltage PCBA's including board rework and FW/HW testing.

Use analytical tools and techniques including electrical debug, X-Ray, microscopic inspection, cross sectioning, thermography, and functional testing.

Excellent time management skills and organizational skills with the ability to complete projects on time and handle ad-hoc assignments

Enrollment in a university program in Business Management or a similar program
