15% Advise clients and make recommendations regarding performance management, employee conduct, EEO/diversity, transfers, reduction in force terminations and disciplinary action.
5% Participate in the grievance process, labor management meetings, arbitrations, MCAD claims, and all other legal proceedings as needed.
Working knowledge of such disciplines as the recruitment function, training, compensation, employee relations, labor relations, and benefits administration.
10% Assist managers in the development and implementation of employee relations efforts designed to build trust and enhance employee engagement.
Minimum of five years of relevant experience.

They are also responsible for conducting investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and other employee relations issues. They must be able to identify and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in employee relations or a related field
• Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)

• Knowledge of employment law and regulations
• Knowledge of employee relations best practices
• Knowledge of employee relations policies and procedures
• Knowledge of labor relations and collective bargaining
