Supplier Readiness – Senior Director

This is a high-visibility position in a winning team!
This Senior Director position is responsible for developing the vision and strategy of how our 300+ Honeywell supply network should operate, and making that strategy a reality. This leader will work with business leaders, operations and supply chain leaders, and supplier development engineers to drive a transformation in our business with the right manufacturing methods, ensuring strategic operational business results are achieved, and grow the capability of our supply chain organization.
Responsibilities
Driving strategic project selection to enable performance of the our suppliers, engage in the most critical suppliers working with leaders to drive rapid performance improvement, working in suppliers to help rapidly increase capacity and capability, reporting status to executive and corporate leadership on a regular basis, driving strategic relationships with external companies to enable success, and be a thought-leader for the Integrated Supply Chain organization as part of the elite team ensuring a resilient supply chain for Honeywell Aerospace.
YOU MUST HAVE

• For Export compliance, candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent resident.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience leading manufacturing and/or engineering teams
• 10 + years of manufacturing engineering and/or project engineering experience

• Ability to focus teams to drive the highest impact methods as a priority and manage a rigorous operating system to ensure objectives are accomplished as planned
• Will be a self-starter capable of making good decisions with a track record of successfully managing people and processes and demonstrates success in supply chain systems and planning. Strong organizational and leadership skills in an international environment with the ability to lead and drive projects to completion
• Geographic location: Preferred locations for this position is in Phoenix, AZ OR Clearwater, FL; travel 75%
• Demonstrates a hands-on, energetic, accountable and hardworking management style.
• People development skills. Ability to build organizational talent and develop a world-class supply chain team by mentoring/coaching, rewarding high performance and skill development. Vision; ability to assess organizational capability; strategic with the ability to articulate both short and long-term (three-year) plans.
• Multi-industry experience is preferred
• Ideal candidates will have a track record of operational improvement through manufacturing methods at large (Fortune 100) companies recognized as best-in-class in discrete manufacturing and supply chain management
• Industrial Manufacturing with a large global footprint
• Commanding knowledge of manufacturing processes, and associated business processes to enable a successful manufacturing operation (capital planning, new product introduction, design for manufacturing, supplier engagement, operational metrics)
