10+ years of management and leadership experience

Experience presenting business cases to Executive Management (NPV, IRR) justifying technology investment portfolio and prioritization.

Ongoing self-learning through research, networking, ongoing education, partnerships, and relevant industry panel discussions.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial principles

Experience with analyzing data, trends, and visualizations.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• 2-4 years of experience as a technical analyst

• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills required.

• Must possess excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

• Understanding and experience working with Agile methodology

Manage 3rd party L1/L2 support where needed and identify and recommend new technology solutions to improve upon current processes.

Proven experience in GCP cloud architecture and managing various operating systems, network, application security.

Great knowledge in working in an agile environment for solutions architecture and the design of business critical applications.

Deeper understanding of cyber security and ability to identify platform vulnerabilities.

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures, metrics for hardware, software and storage to maintain and/or uplift department performance.

Knowledge of data base management and network operations; Ability to handle multiple priorities; and

2. Advises management regarding information systems requirements. Directs the design, installation, modification, and operations of information systems.

Knowledge and demonstration of strong abilities in working with Microsoft Suites and like associated software;

14. Oversee the management of the County’s inventory of computers, network, and telecommunications equipment/systems.

Manages City Computer Systems Division and GIS application programming staff including personnel; budget, goals and priorities, purchasing, etc.

Manages installation and maintenance of computer wiring and cabling with the City facilities.

Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experiences managing computer systems staff, services, GIS and/or operations.

Knowledge and familiarization with all software products used City Wide as well as software packages used exclusively in IT.
