Deposit Operations Specialist Jobs

Bachelor’s degree required or must have equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience working in the banking and/or credit union industry

Experience in MS office tools

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Client facing experience with internal/external clients

2+ years DNA core processing system experience

Assist Bank Operations and Branch Administration as needed and as directed by management.

Maintain a working knowledge of all compliance regulations and ensure the bank adheres to said regulations.

Additional responsibilities and duties as directed by Leadership.

High school diploma with experience in banking industry or related field preferred.

ACH experience and Deposit/Bank Operations experience preferred.

Working Knowledge and understanding of all banking regulations.

Must have excellent communication, organizational, problem solving and time management skills.

Meet or exceed the accuracy, productivity and all other goals assigned by management.

Interact courteously and tactfully with managers, co-workers, customers and/or vendors.

Check processing, UCC, Check 21, Regulation CC knowledge

Review forms for completeness and perform maintenance requested

Verify maintenance submitted is correct

Netteller login issues, cash management authority failures, and PIN resets

Active participation in demonstrating the behaviors outlined in the GRB Experience.

Plan and coordinate daily work of direct reports; Train and motivate employees.

Monitor and evaluate team performance, holding employees accountable for goals and objectives including but not limited to daily maintenance/parameter maintenance reports.

Knowledge of ACH or equivalent experience helpful

High School graduate or equivalent General Education Certificate (GED)

2 years of experience in banking, preferably in an operations support role

Problem-solving skills, task organization skills and a high level of initiative

EStatement Set Up and Maintenance

Process Non-Post Items and NSF Items

Experience in product or process management in a highly regulated environment

Working with the development team to identify the appropriate solution to meet Rule 370 requirements

Banking or consulting experience preferred

Ability to understand and communicate complex concepts with different audiences (developers, business managers, compliance, etc.)

Agile experience including experience serving as scrum or Kanban team product owner for development activities

Demonstrated experience developing strong, collaborative working relationships with a variety of constituents across all levels of organization

10+ years experience in financial services, specifically in the areas of operations, customer experience and risk management/controls;

Experience leading large teams of 35+ in daily operations to ensure compliance with regulatory guidance, policies and procedures

Business Process Transformation (lean/six sigma) experience preferred

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Ensure department compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.

Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of specific laws and regulations through in-house resource materials as well as external training opportunities.

Five or more years of banking experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of federal and state banking laws and regulations

Monitor and process Remote Mobile Deposits and Shared Branching transactions

A minimum of 3 years related experience in Banking or Credit Union Operations, experience in Deposit Operations preferred

Associates Degree preferred or equivalent work experience

Proficient computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook

Assist in all process and compliance of ACH transactions

Process disputes/chargebacks, monitor member accounts for unusual activity and resolve member issues with their debit and credit cards
