Salary Range: $58,000 - $70,000


Primary Responsibility


The Deposit Operations Team Lead is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of the bank’s daily operations functions and providing internal support to all areas of the bank. This is a “working” Team Lead position, responsible for the daily supervision of a team of Operations, Electronic Banking, and Document Control Specialists.


Essential Functions


  • Serve as department point of escalation for resolution of more complex issues, including HSA/IRA tax reporting.
  • Published to the Bank’s Intranet.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, holding employees accountable for goals and objectives including but not limited to daily maintenance/parameter maintenance reports.
  • Responsible for oversight of the bank’s document imaging system (Synergy) and staff.
  • Wire and ACH processing;
  • Plan and coordinate daily work of direct reports; Train and motivate employees.
  • Review account/CIF maintenance logs and parameter maintenance logs for department staff daily.
  • Ensure chargebacks and customer credits are done in a timely manner.
  • Ensure impacted accounts are restricted or closed as appropriate.
  • Chargeback, non-post, and NSF processing
  • Reviewed/ approved by the Director of Bank Operations & Servicing;
  • Research cases where the bank has no chargeback rights, recommend escalating the dispute as appropriate
  • Active participation in demonstrating the behaviors outlined in the GRB Experience.
  • ATM/debit card approval issues, limit increases, and PIN resets
  • Reviewed with Operations staff, and other departments, as appropriate; and
  • Serve as backup/provide coverage for the department’s most time sensitive tasks:
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for implementation and ongoing maintenance of the department’s documented workflows and procedures – all new or updated documentation should be:
  • Work with the Operations Team and Compliance to ensure compliance with OFAC, Reg E, MasterCard and NACHA rules.
  • Netteller login issues, cash management authority failures, and PIN resets
  • Development of staff through coaching and performance appraisal process.
  • Debit card, ACH, wire, and check fraud:


Qualifications


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Associate’s Degree required, preferably in business-related discipline; (Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred) with a minimum of 5 years banking experience including working knowledge of Banking Policies and Procedures and a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
