5+ years of demonstrated expertise in the area of creating and managing an effective onboarding experience, preferably in Higher Education

Retain and renew customers and drive new revenue within existing accounts by providing users with excellent onboarding and implementation experiences

Create an overall staffing plan to support the designed user experience

Manage staff, provide coaching, and/or assist in training staff

Manage unit budget and control expenses

Liaison between management and keeper staff. Provides and encourages a feedback rich environment with information regarding accomplishments, updates, and challenges

General knowledge of zoo animal husbandry and observational skills

Assist with the daily behavioral husbandry, operant conditioning, and enriching experiences of animal collection

Ability to use critical thinking skills to trouble shoot issues and reveal solutions to move the animal team forward

Experience with animal training and public presentations a plus.

Specific Animal Care Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Certifying all graduation candidates according to the Texas Education Agency’s and the partner school district’s assessment and curriculum requirements; and

Completing Social Security forms for students who receive benefits;

Previous experience as a school registrar (preferred)
