Experience in labor roles, preferably in construction, demolition, plumbing, etc.

Experience with wall saws, core drills, flat saws, handsaws, ring saws and/or compressor tools such as jackhammers preferred.

Cut, saw, lift, core drill and demolish concrete

Maintain Penhall Company equipment: vehicles, diamond blades, flat saws, core drills, wall saws, jackhammers and small tools.

Ensure inspection, general maintenance, security and cleanliness of all company equipment

Any concrete finishing experience is helpful

Pay is 22.00 per hour

Long term work-40 hours a week

First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:00pm )

Expereince with a variety of concrete types helpful

Ability to mix various materials: sand, water, gravel in a timely manner

Three years of applicable construction experience.

There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.

Work relating to the layout, site preparation, placement, and finishing of concrete on a variety of military/government/commercial type construction projects.

High School diploma or GED preferred.

Must demonstrate a positive attitude.

Ability to work as a member of a team.

Provides management of subcontractors and organization of the overall job and workflow.

Partners with project management to identify schedule and costs associated with project changes.

Assumes responsibility for management, scheduling, production, safety and quality on their project or their portion of the project.

Utilizes awareness, experience and knowledge to identify problems and recommends solutions for review and implementation by the team.

Ability to apply fundamentals of the means and methods of construction management to projects.

Proficiency in project management and accounting software (Intermediate).

2 or more years of experience setting forms and finishing concrete for sidewalk, curb and gutter, ped ramps, crosspans, etc.

Experience finishing behind curb machine a plus.

Must be able to bend and twist as well as regularly lift 50 lbs.

Ability to use hand tools and power tool equipment.

Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Must be safety-minded and customer focused.

Daily communications/coordination with the Project Management staff to ensure successful project communication and execution.

Vast knowledge and experience of concrete construction ranging from Footings, walls, flatwork, tilt up, paving.

Able to maintain positive working relationships with all construction groups - management, owners, trades and subcontractors.

Assist delivery drivers at the plant and onsite.
