Previous experience in transaction management, transaction coordination, real estate, titles, or mortgages highly valued

High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Additional certification in real estate, paralegal studies, or a related field is preferred

In-depth knowledge of real estate transaction procedures, regulations, and requirements.

Coordinate and schedule the recording of documents with the appropriate county clerk or recorder's office.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and build positive relationships with various parties involved.

Review HUDs prior to closing.

Prepare and maintain closing packages.

File original HUDs, plans, lender letters, etc.

Daily communication with lenders, sales team and home buyers.

Purchase agreement processing and filing.

Communicate and follow-up with lenders, title and sales staff to ensure timely closings.

Contact members and settlement agent to coordinate and schedule refinance loan closings.

Assist with obtaining payoff quotes for refinance transactions.

Successful completion of all job related training requirements.

One to three years of similar or related experience preferred

Knowledge of mortgage documentation and forms preferred

Must have experience or be able to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for this job

Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an auto loan or indirect lending preferred but not necessary.

Qualifications, Skills And Expertise Required

Coordinating among multiple parties, including sellers, buyers, real estate agents and attorneys on Purchase/Sale, Refinance and REO Transactions.

Entering and balancing CD/HUD data for Purchase/Sale, Refinance and REO transactions.

Reviewing payoff demand data for accuracy and completing data entry.

Paralegal certification preferred, but not required

Experience with purchase/sale closing customs

As Closing Coordinator, you will use your skills to:

Process real estate transactions by clearing title, ordering documents required for closing, ensuring file is on track to close as scheduled

Most of all, you’ll be able to leverage the latest digital technology to exceed client expectations.

Order title work and review for title requirements.

Technical data entry of specific order details/information into the CORE database.

Strong typing and computer skills (Microsoft Word and Outlook)

Minimum 2 years of experience working with a title insurance company, mortgage, or other real estate services company preferred.

Provide customer service and clerical support for the Closing Team.

Submit requests for additional information regarding each transaction (HOA, payoffs, etc.)

Maintain data entry for Starts and Closings report.

Manage the daily starts and closings meetings - gather and update all pertinent information

Manage pending sale process. Track sales reporting and open escrow.

Minimum of a high school education; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Prefer at least over 2 years of builder Contract Coordination and/or Starts/Permitting experience. Previous title company or lender experience also acceptable.

Strong people skills, including the capability to handle various personalities and develop professional relationships

Handle reporting and updates to reporting for upper management when VP not available.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

Check for unusual disbursement requirements, review, and work with accounting on any discrepancies.

Ensure all files comply with ATR/QM/HPML/HOEPA rules and requirements.

Communicates and interacts with performance teams, Quality Review teams, and other managers to ensure staffing needs match the capacity plan.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Coordinate with Construction and Sales departments the scheduling of all requirements for a timely walk and close

1-3 years in Contracts or Closing experience preferably in the homebuilding industry a plus

Knowledge of accounting principles and contract laws

52k for candidate with strong degree and good internships during college

Prefer fresh college graduate that can be mentored and invested in

Support sales function by performing administrative tasks related to sales contracts processing and closing

Manage information and update information in applicable programs. Ensure routine reports are generated and distributed on time.

A minimum of 2 years experience in a professional, office environment.

Experience in the home building industry is preferred.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, particularly with numbers and financial data.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a Closing Specialist, you will work to manage various documents and files throughout the settlement process.

Communicate and develop good working relationships with lenders.

Obtain and distribute expected closing dates from Construction management; Update stages of completion and actual closing dates to sales staff

Daily communicate with lenders, sales team, home buyers, and managers

Coordinate sales contracts and addendums

Maintain necessary sales reports and records

Maintain proposed change orders, correspondence and similar record logs as needed

Set-up closings and coordinate home orientations with home buyers

Be responsible for the performance, management, contract management, design, consulting, coordinating, training, and support functions of the Closing processes.

Experience with real estate finance, including mortgage documents; AND

Experience with planning, directing, implementing, and overseeing a process with multiple parties and tight time frames for actions.
