Summary

The Closing Coordinator will provide support to consumers in completing and processing loan applications timely and assisting customers in meeting their auto loan financing needs. They will do so by collecting and verifying the stipulations needed to fulfill a loan prior to sending it to the lender for funding.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include achieving positive results in the following key areas:

• Answering basic questions regarding the consumer’s loan and escalating to assigned Loan Specialist as needed.
• Additional duties as required.
• Maintain expected KPIs.
• Working with consumers to update insurance binders as necessary.
• Verifying each stipulation received.
• Uploading stipulations received in accordance with AUTOPAY's process.
• Understand and demonstrate the principles of AUTOPAY’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
• An understanding of the loan process, timeline expectations, stipulation, and contract needs in detail.
• Calling and/or notating every loan on the assigned team in between a contracting and funded status to acquire missing stipulations.
• Coordinating the retrieval of required stipulations on an average of 500+ loans per month (25+ new per day plus following up on those in progress) in conjunction and collaboration with the assigned Loan Specialist.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Analytical: Detailed-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work independently. Strong reasoning and critical thinking skills.
• Technical: Intermediate level with Microsoft Office and Teams, keyboarding/computer skills, heavy computer, and phone usage.
• Language/Communication/Interpersonal: Excellent organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and all levels of management.
• Math Skills: Basic computation skills
• Other: High level of personal motivation, professionalism, and integrity required. Ability to exercise discretion and judgment.
• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an auto loan or indirect lending preferred but not necessary.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Compensation

This position pays $18.00/hr.
