Associate Revenue Accountant Jobs

Experience in ALM areas (Treasury, Liquidity, Risk Management, etc) a plus

Support CFO in cash management (including foreign currency operations), cash flow forecasting, intercompany funding, and RWA reporting

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS, previous experience in lease accounting preferred

Review and enter invoices to accounts payable, communicating with department managers to confirm the nature of the activity

Post journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts (ADP integration review, benefits, etc.) in coordination with HR department

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred

Lead monthly phone meetings with sales, consulting and/or project management across the U.S. to review consulting engagements for accurate revenue recognition

2+ years of Accounting experience

Experience with the calculation of revenue or reviewing revenue results for a service organization preferred

Public accounting or experience working for a public company a plus

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including creation of pivot tables and VLookUps

Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills

Perform ad hoc tasks and analysis as requested by management.

Solid accounting knowledge with the ability to apply general concepts to unique situations

3+ years of Accounting or experience

Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition and requirements

Experience with NetSuite or other large accounting system is an asset

Advanced Excel Skills including vlookups, xlookups, pivot tables, nested if statements, and other advanced functions like formulas

3+ years of relevant work experience in brand management

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Strategic Management and/or Business

Strong experience within the field of strategic marketing/business development, with a holistic knowledge of business operations

In-depth understanding, knowledge and practical experience in customer and/or customer marketing is needed.

Manage program budgets and timelines to drive flawless execution of the plan, hitting all system milestones on time and within budget.

Experience with Nielsen or IRI, Bases and other quantitative research tools and a passion for understanding consumer behavior.

Degree in healthcare management, accounting, finance or business preferred, but not required

Examples: Claims submission & Rejection troubleshooting, Denials and A/R management, accelerated cash collections

At least 1.5 - 2 years of experience in healthcare provider revenue cycle, preferably in a consulting or analytics role

Efficient written and verbal communication skills

Fundamental knowledge of revenue integrity (i.e. CPT and ICD-10 coding) Comfortable working with the ambiguity of a fast-paced startup

Partner with Block’s Finance & Strategy team to investigate variances between actual results and forecasts and support the budgeting process.

4+ years of accounting experience

Technical and practical knowledge of revenue recognition standards under US Gaap and IFRS

Teaming with the Manager, Finance Operations and Director, Revenue on ad-hoc analysis, research or corrections

Reading and comprehending customer and partner contracts, then utilizing accounting knowledge to record the related transactions.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Active CPA license or on CPA licensure track; working knowledge of US GAAP

Minimum of 2-3 years accounting or 1-2 years auditing experience

Strong PC skills required including proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Heavy involvement in billing cycle accounts, including ASC 606, accounts receivable, escheatment, refunds and voids, and warranty liabilities.

Support the Revenue team with fulfillment of internal and external audits requirements.

2 years’ related experience in Accounting.

Experience working in a public accounting firm or in a large, publicly traded company a plus.

Revenue accounting experience a plus.

Analytical and problem solving skills.

Maintains governmental filing requirements, including sales tax

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent with at least three years accounting experience

Advanced experience using Excel and other products in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations

Ability to solve problems in straightforward situations and analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgment and precedents
