This includes overseeing the kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met, and managing the kitchen budget. Detailed Job Description The Assistant Kitchen Manager is responsible for assisting the Kitchen Manager in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. This includes overseeing the kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met, and managing the kitchen budget. The Assistant Kitchen Manager will also be responsible for training and developing kitchen staff, scheduling shifts, and ensuring the kitchen is properly stocked and maintained. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to manage and motivate kitchen staff
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools
• Excellent customer service skills
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a kitchen management role
• ServSafe certification
• Food Handler’s Card

• Knowledge of menu planning and cost control
