Job Description
Looking for an engaging nonprofit opportunity in the social work field? If you are passionate about helping youth overcome obstacles and thrive in their communities, this position is for you!

As a full-time Youth Opportunity - Human Services Specialist at Fedcap, Inc., you'll have the chance to make a real impact in the nonprofit world. We offer this social work position excellent pay of $40,000 to $43,000 per year and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, a flexible spending account (FSA), short- and long-term disability, a 403(b) plan, an employee assistance program, a future mom's program, and life insurance. Apply today to join our nonprofit and help shape the futures of young people in need!

About Our Company

Launched as part of The Fedcap Group in 2018, Fedcap, Inc. offers a wide array of programs and services to help individuals achieve success in education and employment to become self-sufficient adults. Our specific focus areas include case management, work readiness, vocational or employer-based training, job placement, and post-placement support. We provide a broad range of services to thousands of individuals across a growing footprint, helping them achieve economic and social well-being. We are committed to making sustainable, high-outcome, and life-changing differences for the individuals and families we serve.

Our services are only as effective as the quality of the people who make up our team. To achieve our mission, we strive to attract and retain talented and committed staff who believe in our cause. This is why we provide competitive compensation, great benefits, and plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth.

YOUR DAY AS A YOUTH OPPORTUNITY - HUMAN SERVICES SPECIALIST

As a Youth Opportunity - Human Services Specialist, you hook up our nonprofit program members with alternative opportunities that match their interests, skills, and assessment outcomes. We want our members to have the best experience possible, so you build and maintain relationships with our Alternative Engagement providers to make sure everyone's enrollment and completion is smooth sailing. And you do it all with a smile on your face and a positive attitude.

You're also a cheerleader, making sure our members attend their first appointment and successfully enroll in the education program. If issues pop up along the way, you're there to lend a helping hand and work with our service coordinators to make sure everyone stays on track. You're always on the lookout for new opportunities to add to our list of Alternative Engagement providers. When you find them, you enthusiastically facilitate information sessions for our members.

You're not afraid to get out there and do some on-site visits, either. You coordinate presentations with our partners to make sure everyone's up to date and in the know. Last but not least, you keep track of our education and training report for submission to our funder. It's all in a day's work for you, and knowing that you're making a huge difference in our members' lives is the cherry on top of the sundae!
