Job Description
Job Responsibilities


The Wil Lou Gray Opportunity School is seeking qualified individuals who has an aspiration to make a difference in the lives of our At-Risk youth.


Job Responsibilities


  • Participates in job related training and workshops for professional growth.
  • Participate and conduct fitness training.
  • Ensures emotional, physical, psychological, educational and other needs of youth are met through appropriate intervention.
  • Responsible for youth supervision and movement throughout a campus environment.
  • Develops positive life coping skills among youth through teaching and enforcing appropriate behaviors.
  • Establishes and maintains a positive military environment for at risk youth in a residential setting.
  • Conducts other duties as assigned, required, or requested.


Minimum Requirements


Minimum and Additional Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Service Field can replace one year of experience or 5+ years of Military Service can replace all years of experience.
  • 2 years of Direct Supervision of At-Risk Youths aged 16-19 in a residential/educational environment.
  • Knowledge of principles of behavior adjustment techniques, ability to counsel students, ability to communicate effectively.


Note: Salary may vary depending on experience and qualifications.


Preferred Qualifications


Military experience preferred.
