ABOUT THE MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF SAN FRANCISCO (MHASF) MHASF is a mental health peer-run nonprofit located in downtown San Francisco and has been serving people and agencies across the Bay Area since 1947. As mental health consumers, we center the lived expertise of people with mental health challenges in our advocacy, education, and support programs. We believe that dignity and recovery in mental health are something everyone can experience. Our staff is dedicated to creating spaces for learning and healing around stigmatized and under-resourced areas in mental health-hoarding and cluttering behavior; post-hospitalization peer support; mental health and nutrition; peer mental health workforce development; and much more. OVERVIEW OF PROGRAM & POSITION The Workforce Partnership Coordinator will identify and develop partnerships with non-profit and for-profit organizations, agencies, and companies where there are current job opportunities that are supportive of the peer recovery movement. TOP 3 RESPONSIBILITIES Identify new job opportunities and postings from job boards and non-profit organization partnerships. Advise Employment Specialists on resume's, cover letters and social media profiles for participants interested in applying for specific job opportunities as needed. Research, identify, and outreach to build new and develop existing company partnerships for peer recovery jobs and training opportunities. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Update and maintain PROPEL job opportunities leads in Salesforce. Meet with Employment Specialists to discuss job opportunities, current priorities, process improvements. Document updates and outcomes of meetings in Salesforce and submit to Workforce & Training Manager. Tracking and reporting metrics to include number of jobs offered to participants, jobs posted on job tracker, number of jobs that require Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certified workers, and employers' connections. Reporting on Peer Job Trends and marketplace. Collaborate with marketing to develop marketing campaigns and messaging. Generate business partnerships through professional networking, tradeshows, industry conferences, events, etc. Maintain CRM as a single source of truth for all tasks, opportunities, contacts, accounts and opportunity forecasting. Develop and manage partner relationships to better understand your customer's business and broaden your network and influence. Educating non-profit organizations and for-profit companies on the value of PROPEL program. Develop and present value-based proposals and review and complete partnership contracts and agreements. Practice effective, excellent communication with management, partnerships cd support staff. Participate in team building, company-growth and professional development activities including strategy workshops, positioning and messaging discussions, marketing efforts, training and customer care. Special Projects and perform other related duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS 2 -3 years of experience in sales or account/business development, preferably for the non-profit industry. Demonstrating growing account development within existing accounts and through new account development. Ability to work and interact with organizations, companies and employees while demonstrating tact, sensitivity, discretion and professionalism. Basic computer skills including experience with CRM (Salesforce preferred). Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency. Be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, rapid change environment. Willingness to learn from others, take feedback, and adjust communication and behavior. Experience taking initiative to self-educate about unfamiliar subjects or concepts.
