Job Description
WAREHOUSE MANAGER
What You'll Do
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for supporting all activities and systems within the purchasing/warehouse department for Dreamscape’s new Rio Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. The position will manage warehouse staff, vehicles, and other equipment, and oversee security, sanitation, and administrative functions.
ROLES EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
  • Create and implement new solutions for a more efficient and streamlined process for the warehouse operations.
  • Simplify the warehouse protocols.
  • Create a cohesive team that works together to keep our process efficient and effective.
  • Minimize waste on materials purchased and returned as well as assist in monitoring company costs for material purchases.
  • Participate in team training and growth opportunities.
  • Managing inventory levels, overseeing the receiving and shipping of products, and ensuring that the warehouse runs efficiently and effectively.
  • Run reports as requested by leadership.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service at every interaction.
  • Work with buyers and department leaders to obtain all items needed to fulfill operational needs.
  • Perform other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Work with the installers and techs to keep them accountable for the items they are using for jobs, including the returns when brought back to the warehouse.
Supervisory Responsabilities
This position oversees the Warehouse Supervisor(s), Lead(s) and Receivers.
Requirements
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Able to set priorities, work schedules, and meet department deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, solution-driven, analytical leader.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Proactive with an attention to detail.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience.
Preferred
  • Prior experience leading a team.
  • Experience with purchasing systems.
  • Similar casino-resort setting experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
  • Must regularly lift and/move up to 50-75 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
