Key Responsibilities
- Build orders according to assigned load tickets.
- Communicate problems, needs, and successes to District Manager
- Communicate problems, needs, and successes with District Manager.
- Complete needed administration.
- Stage completed pallets in designated area.
- Routinely inspect vehicles to ensure they maintain the professional image of Congo branded vehicles.
- Conduct daily inventory of all products, check accuracy of count, and find discrepancies.
- Adhere to good warehouse practices and safety standards.
- Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation of product.
- Manage fleet's maintenance to ensure minimize disruption to sales and product deliveries by coordinating preventive maintenance.
- Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.
- Manage and continually strive to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
- Complete needed administration.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Complete inventory counts alongside District Manager.
- Load completed orders into delivery vehicles.
- Forklift certified. Ability to operate manual/powered pallet jack.
- Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- A candidate must be 21 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
- Available and flexible to work any shift needed.
- Comfortable and capable driving trucks of various sizes (box truck, side loaders, vans).
- Familiar with inventory management systems.
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, VIP, and Encompass.
- Well organized.
- Strong analytical skills - data based decision making.
- Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license.
- 3+ years of supervisor experience preferably in the DSD industry.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
