Job Description
As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Warehouse and all related operational activities which may include, but not limited to, shipping and receiving, accounts payable, purchasing, product delivery, budgeting, inventory control, warehouse safety, housekeeping, and supervision of warehouse staff.
Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 DOE
Primary Duties:
  • Maintain a close and harmonious relationship with salespeople, co¬workers, suppliers, and other departments.
  • Provide for the security, scheduled maintenance, and calibration of warehouse and warehouse equipment.
  • Schedule and dispatch company vehicles.
  • Ensure a safe and hazard-free work environment.
  • Develop and implement improved methods of materials handling, stock control and packaging to promote efficiency, service, & reduced costs.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university is preferred, but not required.
  • Product and application knowledge, electrical product materials handling experience, and a background in wholesale electrical distribution are strongly recommended.
