Avid4 Adventure is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor in Colorado. This position will serve across all of our program areas. The position is responsible for the ongoing management, inventory and maintenance of equipment. During the summer camp season, the Warehouse Supervisor will support camp directors with their equipment needs and will work closely with the Operations Manager to solve a wide variety of problems. This position will wear a multitude of hats- from gear fixer, organizer, camp staff, to quality control and is responsible for responding to unexpected events at camp and working to solve them. This specific position will be based in Louisville, CO.

Core Responsibilities


  • Ensure all gear is clean and in good working order at all camps. Make repairs or retire equipment when necessary.
  • Assist with training and any logistical needs prior to camp starting.
  • Maintain Avid4's bike fleet and perform basic bike repairs.
  • Work closely with Operations Manager to learn best practices and to ensure all camps are receiving the support needed.
  • Load, Drive, and Lead the transportation of equipment to and from camps.
  • Assist with end of season gear sales.
  • Assist with packing in at the end of the summer. Organize all gear, inventory materials and fix broken items.
  • Supervise/manage seasonal and full time staff working for Operations.


Minimum Requirements


  • Experience in one or all of our core sports- climbing, biking & paddling.
  • Minimum of Basic First Aid and CPR certification from a nationally recognized provider (can be covered by Avid4 Adventure if not currently certified after hiring).
  • 2 years of relevant experience in the camping or adventure sports industry
  • Current driver's license.
  • Must be able to frequently lift items up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Comfortable with Google's G-suite platform for email, spreadsheets and documents.
  • Experience with bike maintenance is required (or willingness to learn necessary skills upon hiring)


Compensation


  • $22.00-$25.00/hr
  • Total compensation includes a strong benefits package, with health insurance (with FSA/HSA options and company contributions), outdoor gear pro-purchase program, flexible work environment, paid time off and paid holidays, free camp for family members, and much more.
  • This will be a full time 10-12 month position


Work Location & Schedule:


  • Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office, a warehouse environment, and on occasion will be required to work outside in all weather conditions. This role requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. It is also a requirement that this position will need to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • This position primarily works at our headquarters in Louisville, CO.
  • Anticipated Start date: 9/5/2023
