Status: Exempt
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
Department: Senior Leadership Team
Date: May 18, 2023
Location: Remote for Eastern or Central Time Zones
Additional Job Details: 1.0 FTE
Monday through Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Travel Required as necessary

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Workforce and Command Center who leads directs and develops analytical processes using workforce metrics and labor market data to optimize human resource capacity planning, support a workforce planning strategy, and maximize labor utilization. Leads quantitative analysis activities and the creation of predictive models used for enhancing forecasting accuracy and improving workforce decision making. Develops efficient data collection methods and processes. Uses data analytics to develop reporting and visualizations that reflect workforce changes and identify trends.

The Vice President of Workforce and Command Center will have a unique opportunity in building out our Workforce Management processes, and best practices related to all aspects of Workforce Management deliverables.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed to improve performance.
  • Prepare, maintain, and evaluate workforce metrics including staffing ratios and key performance metrics to analyze and forecast short- and long-term staffing needs.
  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, real-time monitoring, and management of staffing across the organization. This includes healthcare providers appointment scheduling and inbound and outbound call center teams.
  • Mange real-time inbound call traffic to ensure Key Performance Metrics are met.

  • Delivers value through actionable insights addressing operations workforce risks and opportunities.
  • Event management (Technology, Weather, notable news event)
  • Implement and monitor workforce planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, finance, talent acquisition and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and financial goals.
  • Develop contingency and remediation plans.
  • Leads team of workforce analyst

Qualifications

Role Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • 5+ years of managerial experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Workforce Management Experience.
  • Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
