JOB DESCRIPTION:

To help fuel our accelerated growth, Accredit Solutions is seeking a VP sales / senior sales account executive to find and uncover potential customers who can benefit from our software solutions. As part of our expansion in the USA and North America, we are looking for an experienced, sales executive, with a strong business development mindset and approach in software solutions to join our growing US operation and team.


The position will focus on new business opportunities, to build a strong sales pipeline and acquire new customers in the sports and high-profile events markets. Candidates must have a demonstrable track record of sales achievement in a SaaS environment (with experience in the sports and/or security verticals preferred, although not essential).

Accredit Solutions is a rapidly growing global business that offers market-leading credentialing software to some of the world’s best-known sports clubs, sporting competitions, stadiums, governments, and live events right around the world.


In the USA, we are disrupting the existing market and in just over 2 years we are proud to have won several high-profile customers, including major sports leagues, teams, and events.


This hybrid position (minimum 3 days a week in the office) based in the American Underground complex, in downtown Durham.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering quality customer service as part of team who puts customer satisfaction at the top of its priority list.
  • Negotiating contracts
  • Proactive account management of existing clients to cross sell new solutions, services, and technology.
  • Owning a sales quota for your market sectors and delivering and growing that number year on year
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, RFPs, tenders and bid submissions that get results.
  • Mentor/manage and support junior team members – one for all and all for one.
  • Prospect, present the SaaS solution/services and close new business opportunities.
  • Build relationships with technology, industry, and channel partners to increase market penetration.
  • Presenting our unique value proposition to prospective customers, which starts with comprehensive understanding of the solution and through research identify and match how our solutions meet customer needs.
  • Lead generation, independently and in tandem with the demand generation team, to build a sustainable sales pipeline of new business opportunities to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • In-person (travel required), online and on the phone – representing our company’s software solutions to leading sports and event brands.
  • Securing meetings and demos with senior executives and key stakeholders at sports and events businesses.
  • Working directly with the President and the Demand Generation Team on needs analysis, to uncover and accelerate business opportunities in new sectors.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing work environment
  • SaaS sales experience preferred, online and in person
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as an Account Executive or above
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Team player, smart, professional, and self-motivated
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals
