Job Description

We are conducting a search for a VP of Sales, on behalf of a well-established, growing, and dynamic, 250 employee, Managed Service Provider, who will embody the company’s vision and culture of integrity, technical prowess, entrepreneurship, and excellent customer service. The VP of Sales will oversee and direct a team of fifteen composed of Account Management (sales from existing customers), Account Executives (outbound sales), Quoting (inbound sales), and Sales Engineering. The successful candidate will have proven experience in driving and increasing sales YOY for a Managed Service Provider or other IT company. Responsibilities:

  • Strong communication skills for effective verbal and written communications with sales team, operations specialists, collaborating departments and upper management
  • Oversee and direct a team of fifteen.
  • Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities
  • Technology skills to utilize CRM and database software tools in daily tasks
  • Possess strong leadership skills to evaluate ongoing sales team performance and provide training and coaching when necessary
  • Have advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop and implement new strategies
  • Research and reporting skills to analyze sales data and consumer trends to create sales forecasts


Qualifications:

  • Leadership abilities to delegate tasks and support sales teams
  • Research, analysis and problem-solving skills to understand sales and consumer data and create optimized sales processes
  • 5-10 years of sales management experience at Managed Services technology company or other IT company
  • Technology skills to use CRM and automation tools in daily processes and act as a point of contact
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • Written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams, other departments and upper management
  • Experience managing 10-20 people
