Vp Enterprise Strategy Jobs

Our Client is hiring a VP, Enterprise Strategy to support both Strategy leadership and M&A executives in tackling some of the biggest questions facing the firm and the industry.

This role will ultimately report into the SVP of Enterprise Strategy and M&A, with a primary focus on strategy topics. The role will focus on identifying and addressing enterprise level strategic questions and growth initiatives and managing the broader annual strategic planning process. The role may also work on assessing new sectors that may be approached via an acquisition (vs a build). Management will work collaboratively with the individual to help prioritize these efforts on an on-going basis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Strategy leadership and business executives to tackle some of the most ambiguous and challenging questions facing our industry and approach solving these problems through a data-driven, analytical approach
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
• Work cross-functionally to ensure effective transition from strategy to execution and to evaluate and execute on M&A opportunities
• Work with Platform Strategy and Leadership, Ventures, Network Partners, and other stakeholders to develop & execute an aligned strategy
• Prepare detailed analyses and presentations for the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors
• Present to and communicate with senior leadership across a matrixed organization
• Assist in managing the annual strategic planning process that will create the long-term strategy for the business

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in consulting at a top-tier Strategy firm, including demonstrated experience working with a senior team
• Ability to travel up to 10-15%
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Strength in developing data-driven perspectives and presenting insights to business leaders
• Minimum of 3 years project management experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in the use of MS Office product suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint

Desired Characteristics

• Experience “managing up” to business executives
• MBA preferred
• Strong quantitative skills with experience creating data-driven recommendations
• Team player with experience and successful track record working in matrix environment with cross functional teams
• Experience in Financial Services, specifically credit cards, is preferred but not required
• Experience at top-tier strategy Consulting Firm
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with exceptional presentation skills and high emotional intelligence
• Flexible, collaborative approach and positive attitude
• Project management skills with ability to manage multiple programs through a team-based approach in a fast-paced environment
