TeleSource, Inc. is a leader in high touch “white-glove” Technology, specifically wireline, wireless and private network management through our proprietary software application for some of the US largest private companies. Utilizing our “white-glove” approach and our proprietary software application for auditing, optimization, and invoice approval across all telecommunications and IT carrier/ providers with our mission to power more effective and accountable providers.


TeleSource, Inc. seeks to expand our full professional sales services team with a proven leader that has a track record of leading a sales team of technology and IT professionals for software solutions. This leader will be responsible for overall growth of the company as well as building and managing all future sales of the organization at TeleSource, Inc. This role will build and manage a professional sales services business in a healthy manner to ensure predictability and profitability. This includes holding all account executives accountable for the P&L associated with their sales funnel. This individual will report to the SVP and/or CEO.


The role will focus heavily on instilling world class standards and operational excellence within a team, as well as manage the P&L for all professional services revenue associated with our portfolio of project capabilities and software managed services. To succeed in this role, the individual will need extensive experience managing and leading professional service teams in highly complex lines of business. This role will focus on protecting the scope of services we sign up to deliver to ensure we can provide quality deliverables with a stellar customer experience while maintaining project profitability. In addition, this individual must have the ability to manage communications effectively with internal and external stakeholders while also helping the Management team manage customer expectations and ensure proper project governance.


As an TeleSource, Inc. VP of Business Development leader, you will enjoy building and leading a team with challenging and innovative support people and projects while thriving in a fast-paced environment where accountability is paramount. Demonstrating the ability to communicate cross functionally and collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, Support and Management team to deliver results is essential. A successful candidate will bring experience in software sales, project management fundamentals, proven leadership capabilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong people management (direct and indirect reports), passion to the success of the customer, and a desire to bring innovative technology to the Fortune 1000 business sector. We are looking forward to expanding our Professional Services team with a leader that has a proven track record.


Responsibilities:

  • Produce key customer references through high quality of delivery
  • Assistance in enhancing our methodology of project delivery of our growing set of solutions
  • Manage P&L for portfolio profitability
  • Teach sales how to hone their skills setting up project profitability to deliver profitability
  • Support Statement of Work and Change Order creation and approvals as needed
  • Establish command and control of project delivery both internally and externally when projects are escalated
  • Participate in all sales process as needed to ensure proper scoping and resourcing
  • Develop and lead all sales with operational excellence that drives predictability
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather required resources in order to set appropriate expectations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive project forecasting for projects with portfolio to ensure we are realizing time to value as quickly as possible
  • Ability to ensure proper resource planning- Inspire team to deliver high quality of customer satisfaction
  • Identify early signs of project and customer risk and devise appropriate risk response strategies to help the teams move the projects forward- Travel to customer sites to solidify customer relationships


Requirements:

  • Strong aptitude to learn domain and products
  • Minimum of 5 (five) years leading delivery teams in a Software Sales environment & minimum of 3 years managing P&L
  • Experience with Fortune 1000 and larger business budgeting concepts and practices and/or finance/budgeting solutions is a strong plus
  • Technical aptitude and proficiency with Professional Services, CRM tools, and Operations
  • Experience with portfolio forecasting, resource allocation, and capacity planning
  • Strong initiative, innovative thinking skills, and ability to analyze details and translate into “big picture” view
  • Extra strong analytical thinking, strong system perspective and diligent process analysis skills
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing product and respond strategically to customer needs
