Role and Responsibilities: The Vice President - Safety and Field Operations will be responsible for coordinating all activities of the field staff, working closely with them on technical matters, fostering strong relationships with the field personnel and clients. This role will also focus on managing and handling the daily business operations of the company, working closely with department heads and supervisors to support the day-to-day activity of employees, and implementing new and creative ways to improve our employee and client experiences.
  • Ensuring field reports are received from each jobsite and field employee.
  • Defining, implementing, and revising operational policies and procedures.
  • Visit air quality monitoring and environmental health projects to review setup, calibrations, and overall efficacy.
  • Spearhead the safety training as a service initiative.
  • Establishing and enforcing company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations in the field operations department.
  • Audit and regularly visit all sites, create a relationship with the staff on-site and existing clients as a resource to help with whatever is needed.
  • Reviewing reports from the field staff on a regular basis to ensure that they are performing their jobs effectively.
  • Oversee employee training programs.
  • Tech-minded to implement and utilize the technology at hand and implement new and more efficient technology for the operations of the business.
  • Manage project schedules to ensure that personnel are transitioned from project to project in coordination with the business development and client services team.
  • Implement a Quality Control program for job sites: standard reports, updated local laws/regulations/code being enforced, appropriate notifications being made to Infinite, the client, and applicable agencies, etc.
  • Developing and executing new growth directives.
  • Maintaining all details about employee’s performance, client feedback, and other information.
  • Review, assist, research for Hazard Assessment and Signage Programs (HASP), Site Safety Programs (SSP), and other Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs.
  • Work with the accounting team for invoicing coordination and assurance.
  • Assist field personnel with any guidance/assistance with technical or code compliance related questions.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations.
  • Be forward thinking and help to implement or create new strategies to improve efficiency of site scheduling.
  • Ensuring employees have what they need and are completing their required job duties.
  • Recommending the hiring of new staff members when necessary.
  • Overseeing client support services, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinating all activities of the field staff and training them for their positions.
Skill & Experience Qualifications:
  • Time management/ organization skills.
  • Communication skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Must be proficient in NYC Department of Building Chapter 33, general safety, and general construction.
  • Experience as a Safety Manager and Construction Manager (Preferred).
  • Background in both public and private sector A/E/CM projects.
Education & Certifications Requirements:
  • MUST have at least two of the following certifications: PE, CIH, CSP, CHST, OSHA 500, NYC DOB Site Safety Manager, NYC DOB Site Safety Coordinator, or NYC DOB Licensed Superintendent other nationally or NYC/FDNY recognized training.

New York City Equal Pay Disclaimer Infinite Consulting Corp carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s experience, education, and training. The estimated salary for this position is $150,000 – $180,000 plus annual bonuses and full benefits.
