Job Description

ROLE:


Vimergy is building one of the fastest growing and functionally differentiated brands in the VMS (Vitamin, Mineral and Supplement) category. With the right leadership team we are accelerating growth and gaining market share, while remaining anchored to our Purpose of serving underserved segments of the market with high-end products that set the standard of excellence in the category.


We are an eCommerce business and focus our financial and human capital investments on 3 high-growth channels – marketplaces, our websites, and partner websites - each led by a VP/GM. In addition, Vimergy will selectively expand into US brick & mortar partners that are a fit with our target consumers’ shopping habits. Our growth initiatives in each channel are brought to life by world-class Operations, R&D, Brand Development, Human Capital, Regulatory & Quality, and Finance, Accounting, and IT teams. The VP & GM, Partner Channel will be responsible for driving revenue, profit, HH penetration, consumption, and brand equity through partner-owned Web and B&M sites. Vimergy accounts 70%+ of the volume/revenue for several partner-owned websites, and they in turn collectively account for ~50% of Vimergy global volume.

The VP & GM, Partner Channel will be a key member of the leadership team for the business. S/he will report to the CEO, and lead all growth initiatives in partner stores/sites, including all demand generation and fulfillment initiatives to accelerate growth across 25+ countries.

This is a unique opportunity to build on a successful global brand that is investing in growing HH penetration at industry-leading levels. This critical role presents an unmatched opportunity for a growth leader to chart her/his course by deploying market-beating demand generation plans within the guardrails of the brand ethos, quality standards, and consumer needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Conduct annual business reviews with partners and develop annual business plans to grow partner revenue and profit through the Vimergy brand.
  • Analyze, prioritize, plan, then execute through influence, and track growth initiatives with an emphasis on recruiting new brand users.
  • Recommend and manage the product assortment and consumer pricing strategy to maximize consumer impact, revenue growth, and Gross Margin while avoiding channel conflict.
  • Create strong internal and external relationships that foster collaboration to enable best-in-class execution of aligned growth initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Manage the P&L in partner stores/sites, taking full ownership of growing Revenue, EBITDA, brand metrics, HH penetration, and per capita consumption.
  • Identify new product and packaging needs for partner stores/sites, and work with Brand Development and Operations teams to launch with excellence, tracking trial, repeat, and HH consumption.
  • Develop and deploy partner marketing plans that build on the global brand plan but optimized based on the needs of each market.
  • Lead marketing investments, track partners’ performance against pre-agreed KPIs, and optimize execution to achieve desired revenue,EBITDA, HH penetration, and brand goals.
  • Ensure that all brand assets used by all partners are consistent with brand guidelines while meeting the needs of each market.
  • Identify new partner stores/sites in existing markets, new markets, and develop business plans and execute brand launch in new partner stores, sites, and markets.
  • Analyze market opportunity and current capabilities, and lead co-investments in Partners’ systems, operations, products, people, and go-to-market capabilities that propel Vimergy into a leading brand in priority markets.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred: Experience working directly with international subsidiaries, distributors / wholesale customers
  • BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or Statistics.
  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
  • 3+ years’ experience as General Manager with P&L responsibility for an omni-channel business
  • Strong project management skills
  • Combined 20+ years in Sales, Brand, or Product management, with tangible results growing revenue, EBITDA, brand awareness, HH penetration, per cap consumption, and NPS.
  • 5+ years’ experience leading an omni-channel Retail Sales team in the US
  • Global / International experience with record of accomplishment for a consumer-facing brand and generating business growth on a global scale.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Up to 10% travel, mostly to major cities in Europe, Asia, and S. America
  • In office 4+ days a week
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds if needed.
