Vp, Global Controller Jobs

A leading advertising services company, located just outside of Boston, is seeking a talented, driven, and experienced individual to join the firm as a VP, Global Controller. This position will work closely with the CFO, CEO, and owner of the firm and will be responsible for overseeing the financial well-being of the firm on a global scale. Responsibilities:

• Effectively lead the accounting team by hiring and retaining talent; address and develop performance and career development requirements
• Ensure preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Develop thorough understanding of the firm’s strategy, business operations, culture and competition with knowledge around key Finance customers/functions
• Lead, and support our global team while driving efficiency and automation to keep up with the demands of our diverse business
• Strategize and anticipate emerging business needs and work with internal customers to identify business solutions that support business objectives
• Responsible for the Company’s global shared services organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash application, collections, and payroll

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred
• CPA or CMA strongly preferred
• 10+ years of experience in an Accounting leadership role or equivalent experience leveraging global processes and tools in areas of intercompany, multi-currency consolidations and financial reporting
• In-depth knowledge and experience with GAAP, IFRS, and internal audits
• Big 4 Accounting experience required
