A PE backed Advertising company, located South-West of Boston, is searching for a Vice President, Global Controller, to join their team! Reporting to the CFO, they will be responsible for overseeing the financial well-being of the company on a global scale. They will work with leadership to create and implement procedures and policies that identify, resolve, and document accounting issues, all while driving efficiencies and accuracy throughout the close and reporting processes. Responsibilities:

• Lead, and support our global team while driving efficiency & automation to keep up with the demands of our diverse business
• Provide ongoing financial analysis of results, analyze variances, and develop improvements in accordance with GAAP standards
• Review workpapers supporting the monthly close process and month end balances
• Develop, update and provide key performance metrics to the businesses and recommendations on how to improve results
• Lead financial integration effort, administer and review all financial projections and budgets
• Responsible for the Company's global shared services organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash application, collections, and payroll
• Strategize and anticipate emerging business needs and work with internal customers to identify business solutions that support business objectives
• Ensure preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to work on a hybrid schedule (2 days in office)
• 10+ years of experience in an accounting leadership role or equivalent experience leveraging global processes and tools in areas of intercompany, multi-currency consolidations and financial reporting
• Previous Big 4 Accounting experience
• In-depth knowledge and experience with GAAP, IFRS, and internal audits
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred
• CPA or CMA required
