JOB SUMMARY: Apply and expand your systems management skills in our diverse virtual environments built on VMWare and Citrix, protected by Sonicwall and Fortigate firewalls, and running Linux and Windows VMs. Recently merged company is combining operations and migrating systems to improve efficiencies. Seeking talented engineer with specific skillsets to complement the existing team. QUALIFICATIONS: College or technical degree preferred, VMWare vSphere certification expected. Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience must include VMWare ESX and Linux OS support. Other important skills include Sonicwall firewalls, Active Directory Group Policies, Windows Server management, SQL Server management (MS and/or mySQL), and Citrix virtual machines and session management ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Manage, merge and improve our VMWare environments across two data centers, supporting virtual servers and desktops, and the ESX hardware stack that supports them. Configure and maintain Sonicwall firewalls at multiple locations. Support and update virtualized Linux servers and related applications. Support and update virtualized Windows servers and related applications. Maintain and update Windows virtual desktops (golden images) using Citrix Provisioning Services Organize and execute server, application and data migration projects with input from stakeholders.
