Systems Administrator Jobs

Hunter Strategy is hiring a Systems Administrator to join our Corporate IT Operations Team.

Location:Hybrid Remote with location in Pompano Beach, FL or Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in imaging and maintaining corporate workstations and servers, ensuring they meet internal and project specific security standards.

· Configure corporate switches and firewalls.

· Install, configure and maintain software on corporate devices.

· Support Help Desk personnel with ticketing, troubleshooting and escalations through email, ticketing system, phone and in-person support as applicable.

· Assist with IT onboarding and offboarding for internal users.

· Assist with IT asset management and procurement.

· Assist with user account management and configuration.

· Assist security operations in remediating identified security vulnerabilities and other identified security and/or technical issues.

· Work with suppliers and partners on behalf of the company to maintain third party IT operating environment systems.

· Maintain integrations, certificates, and other applications and services as required.

· Maintain device and user management through centralized identity management systems.

· Maintain, update, create, and improve internal technical and policy documentation.

· Assist in maintaining company office environment.

· Assist in provisioning and administering access to the company office(s).

Critical Skills:

· Strong customer service skills and an ability to listen and interpret requests.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to troubleshoot complex technology issues.

Basic Qualifications:

· Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. Alternatively, 4+ years’ experience with systems administration and/or engineering.

· General understanding of Networking and Operating Systems.

· Ability to travel to either corporate location if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with patch management using multiple tools.

· Knowledge of PowerShell and Bash scripting.

· Experience with cloud-native systems administration across a variety of services and technologies.
