Position Overview:

The Visual Coordinator is responsible for supporting the visual merchandising efforts of the company or organization. This role involves working closely with the Visual Director and other team members to execute visual displays and arrangements that enhance the overall customer experience and promote the company's brand image.


Key Responsibilities:

• Display Setup: Set up and maintain visually appealing displays in accordance with the established visual merchandising guidelines and seasonal changes. This includes arranging products, props, signage, and decorations. Provide best practices, suggestions, and learnings to the Director of Visual.

• Inventory Management: Ensure that all necessary display materials, fixtures, and props are available and in good condition. Track inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.

• Communication: Act as a liaison between the Visual Director and store staff. Communicate visual merchandising plans, changes, and updates effectively to ensure alignment with the company's branding and marketing objectives.

• Execution of Planograms: Follow planograms and design layouts provided by the Visual Director to create consistent and attractive displays throughout the store.

• Visual Merchandising Standards: Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring that displays are clean, well-organized, and visually appealing at all times. Work with Store Managers to ensure the best possible shopping experience for our customers.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with the Visual Director and other team members to brainstorm and implement creative visual merchandising concepts that drive sales and enhance the customer shopping experience.

• Training: Assist in training store staff on visual merchandising best practices, ensuring that the team understands and can maintain the established standards. Work with regional learning and development team to build store standards training.

• Store Layout: They play a key role in determining the layout and design of store displays, ensuring that they optimize traffic flow and product visibility.

• Stores Travel: Visit west coast stores 2-3 times per year. Anticipated travel 30%-50%.


Experience & Key Competencies:

• Previous experience in visual merchandising, retail, or a related field is preferred. • Strong attention to detail and a good eye for design.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Knowledge of retail trends, customer behavior, and market competition.

• Physical stamina for lifting and moving display materials.

• Creativity and a passion for creating visually appealing displays.

• Familiarity with visual merchandising software and tools may be a plus.
