Job Description

The Virtual Specialty Sales Representative (VSSR) is a tele sales role. This VSSR will have responsibilities in a variety of Sales, Customer Service and Sales Support functions. The selected candidate will place approximately 40 calls each day to order to schedule and conduct product presentations to a designated market to achieve product awareness, educate the market and generate prescriptions. In addition, the selected individual will occasionally support the field sales force in areas that may include retail stocking, convention follow-up and direct mail campaign follow-up. The role may travel into markets where personal promotion is needed.


Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional image for Client and Client products
  • Keep current with knowledge and understanding of all assigned products, disease states, treatment and market knowledge and competitive products
  • Participate in all required training and sales meetings
  • Generate inside sales in line with assigned Client’s promotional program
  • Achieve daily sales call activity/client deliverables by gaining access virtually to prescribing decision makers and influencing purchasing decisions
  • Have appropriate interaction with co-promotional partners or counterparts, if applicable
  • Maintain and update current and prospective target prescriber profiles
  • Make complete, accurate and timely submission of all time-keeping, details, call activity, expense reports, and sample activity when applicable


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated record of success (Top 10%, President’s Club Award Winner)
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and effectively communicate within different levels of an organization
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven Business-to-Business sales experience required
  • Tele sales experience, especially in the healthcare field is desired
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Ability to travel as business needs require
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and computer skills essential
  • 4 year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, teamwork, organization and workload planning skills
