How you will lead

We are searching for a best-in-class communications leader to be Vice President, Technology Communications. This communications executive should have a proven track record of creating and executing internal technology communications in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a strategic thought-partner who can bring together business and technology acumen with strategic end to end communications to support Intuit’s CTO and inspire and engage the CTO’s team of over 8,000 engineers to lead with innovation, velocity, and speed.

This critical hire will lead a team of technology communicators to develop integrated internal communications that support the technology team agenda. The ideal candidate should excel in providing thought partnership and building trust with senior executives and building high-performance teams. They/he/she should hold a high bar for executional excellence and show a bias for action. The individual should have strong technology communications acumen and excel at written communications and storytelling with a clear focus to create business impact.

  • Strategic counsel to drive change management in a complex, fast paced organization.
  • Ability to capture the authentic voice of leaders in well-written communications and partner with them to bring to life their vision, strategy, and priorities.
  • Be a strategic communications partner to the CTO, advising on the right forum, timing, and content of communications to ensure Intuit’s 6000+ technology employees are informed, inspired, and empowered through impactful communications.
  • Over multiple years, we’ve provided Technology communications support through different models including via a dedicated manager and then, director-level role. Given the complexity and level of strategic acumen required in driving the outcomes of this role especially in a post-Covid hybrid world, the role requires higher level of skill set and more developed approach. Given the role is ultimately to engage and inspire over 6,000+ Intuit technology employees, the remit is broad and critical in nature.
  • Lead a team of communicators to work across and choreograph communications across the company, shepherding multiple stakeholders to drive communications activities across the company.
