In 2021, NGI established a strategic partnership with Dyal Capital, an industry leading capital provider for institutional alternative asset managers and a division of Blue Owl.Blue Owl is a New York Stock Exchange listed company with over US$144B in assets under management.

We are seeking to add a member to our growing team to support its recent and future growth. This individual will have day-to-day responsibility for monitoring our existing investments, supporting financing and growth initiatives, ASX reporting requirements and participate in the underwriting and due diligence process for new investments.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in quarterly and ad hoc partner on-site and virtual update meetings with the management teams of our partner firms
• Prepare and update quarterly valuation models and memoranda of existing investments;
• Analyze investment financial data, trace and escalate discrepancies;
• Lead the monitoring of Navigator’s portfolio of partnership interests the management companies and general partnerships of alternative asset managers including investment and financial performance.
• Review financial documents to identify inaccuracies;
• Partner with Navigator’s CFO and Finance team to support preparation of public investor materials
• Modeling of and verification of management company economics.
• Participate in new investment process including managing due diligence process (submitting request lists, arranging meetings, managing data room, etc.)., Conduct financial due diligence incl. preparation of “quality of earnings assessment”. Participate in investment and financial due diligence meetings.
• Perform regular investment financial record audits to ensure compliance with agreements;
• Conduct ad hoc analysis which may include analysis around Partner’s investments, returns, equity ownership and compensation arrangements.

Qualifications:

• Three to Seven years of relevant industry experience
• Strong analytical skills with advanced financial modelling experience
• CPA or CFA is a plus
• Resourceful and able to handle multiple and changing priorities
• Strong knowledge of hedge fund, private credit and private equity strategies and firms.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in a Finance based field with coursework in Finance, Economics, and/or Accounting.
• Exceptional ability to multi-task while still maintaining a fine-tuned attention to detail
• High degree of intellectual curiosity about the alternatives industry and its business dynamics.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex information both orally and in written formats
• Self-starting attitude and entrepreneurial spirit balanced with a commitment to teamwork.
