Vice President, Operations Jobs

A leading global industrial partner and distributor located in the Midwest is looking for their next Vice President of Operations. The new leader will act as the top operations advisor for the organization to support their significant growth plans. The position directs the overall customer service, purchasing, pricing, service and warehousing strategies. The primary goal of the Vice President of Operations is to deliver the most efficient benchmarkable systems to provide best-in-class service levels to customers while maximizing profitability and shareholder value.

The position requirements are as follows:

· Fifteen years of progressive operations work experience including five years of successful senior leadership experience.

· Extensive knowledge of the distribution industry.

· Advanced data analysis and project management experience. Able to identify root causes of problems, generate alternatives, draw logical conclusions and decide on appropriate course of action.

· Advanced leadership skills with proven track record of inspiring people to action through influence. Strong executive presence and emotional intelligence.

· Strong background in warehouse activities to include logistics and shipping with a focus on customer service.

· Strong experience in technology, including CRM systems
