Vice President Of Supply Chain

We are working with a leading fast casual restaurant firm who is looking to bring on a VP of Supply Chain to their Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities:

• Creates a risk mitigation and resiliency plan for each SKU
• Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management
• Monitor inventory levels and develop processes to minimize waste
• Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards
• Leads our Food Safety, Employee Safety, and sustainability programs in support of company strategy, mission, goals, and objectives.
• Oversees all aspects of company's supply chain strategy, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, distribution, and inventory management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Creates Key Performance Indicators aligned with business priorities and embraced by executive leadership that are meaningful, customer-centric, aggressive, and achievable and ensure these are well communicated and visible across organization from operators to leadership team.
• Lead and manage a team of supply chain, food safety and quality assurance professionals to ensure optimal performance and alignment with organizational goals
• Develop relationships with vendors and suppliers to support cost-effectiveness and food quality

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards
• Demonstrated success in running large scale quality assurance and food safety programs
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration or related field. Master's degree is a plus
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on food service or retail operations
• Strong understanding of supply chain best practices, including procurement, logistics, distribution, and inventory management
• Experience leading and managing a team of supply chain, food safety, and quality assurance professionals
