Vice President of Sales x 2

Based: Los Angeles, CA


Introduction

I am currently partnered with a $1Bn privately-owned food manufacturer and distributor on some exciting roles to help with their next stage of growth. My client is looking to bring on 2 new Vice Presidents of Sales, specifically focused on Frozen CPG and Ice Cream, Desserts & Novelties.


  • Market company products and services to retailers and channels
  • Improve customer satisfaction and maintain key customer relationships
  • Manage sales teams, budgets, and operations
  • Develop effective sales strategies and write sales reports
  • Manage promotion strategies to maximize results by retailer
  • Monitor market and competitor activities for detailed sales forecasting
  • Oversee daily sales activities and meet with major clients
  • Create sales reports and provide feedback to the leadership team
  • Recruit and hire sales teams/brokers to achieve desired results
  • Set sales goals, motivate sales teams, and drive company success


Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of selling experience and proficiency in sales technology and CRM software
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies, competitive products, and the market
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
  • Strong relationships and knowledge of top 10 retailers for CPG
  • Established relationships and familiarity with top 10 retailers for frozen ice cream/novelty
  • Strong strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking abilities
  • Minimum 7 years of sales leadership experience
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
